Covid
September 2021 onwards
We are now following Schools COVID-19 operational guidance published by the government on 27 September 2021. A school risk assessment is in place linked to the following 4 control measures:
- Ensure good hygiene for everyone
- Maintain appropriate cleaning regimes
- Keep occupied spaces well ventilated
- Follow public health advice on testing, self-isolation and managing confirmed cases.
Pupils and visitors are not required to wear face coverings. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the building. Classrooms are well ventilated. Home-testing kits are regularly distributed.
Please do not send a pupil to school if they have tested positive or are awaiting a test result. Please follow the latest government guidelines on isolation periods.
The school has a contingency plan to step up safety measures or move to remote teaching, should local or national guidance change. The school carried out a remote learning contingency planning day on 20 October 2021 to train and remind pupils and parents how to access remote teaching.
